They're meticulously crafted to capture the mesmerizing beauty of crystalline glazes in every brushstroke, right out of the jar. Transform your pottery into celestial masterpieces that sparkle with the brilliance of distant galaxies. Crystals will develop on both horizontal and vertical clay surfaces; vertical surfaces will encourage running. Apply 4 coats to Cone 04 bisque, then fire to Cone 5-6. These glazes can be fired in a normal medium-speed firing with no special cooling schedule required. To take this glaze to the next level, use a controlled cooling scheduled for increased crystal growth. For best results, leave inside or back of form unglazed to avoid pinholing; if glazing a piece all the way to the end of the foot, use a drip tray to protect kiln shelves. Not recommended for surfaces which come into contact with food and drink due to durability. 16 oz. (473 mL) jar.
