This light blue filter cools lighting situations, but not as dramatically as the 80 series. These filters are used for more subtle changes in color balance. They are often known as light balancing filters rather than conversion filters, as they shift the color temperature in smaller degrees to balance the color of the light to the color sensitivity of the film. The 82a increases color temperature from 3000K to 3200k. This 150mm filter is usable with Lee 150mm holder systems or any similar 150mm holder. The filter is also available in 85mm, 100mm and 165mm sizes.
